The asparagus-like spears more than doubled in size then formed dew drop looking droplets of stickiness. Yesterday, I saw one blossom. Throughout the day, I noticed I was sneezing and blowing my nose. Last night it got really crazy. I could smell a perfume odor in the air and figured something outdoors must be in bloom. All I knew was my allergies were in high gear.
As I was on the phone with my sister, I noticed the blossoms. Wow! That's where the perfume was coming from. They are beautiful, but the sweet odor was overpowering for me. They must shoot out their perfume more at night because they don't smell so much this morning.
