Warning: Do not try this at home!
Okay, so y'all know I baked cookies on Tuesday. Today is more baking day, getting ready for a b-b-q we are attending tomorrow. I preheated my oven to bake my new cookies when I kept smelling cookies baking. I thought it was just my nose and my imagination and the smell of the dough I was making.
Sure enough, I opened the oven to insert my first batch and discovered an entire batch of chocolate chocolate chip cookies burned to charcoal on the bottoms....I'd left them in the oven on Tuesday. (Don't ask me why because I don't remember!)
I promise, I won't share my twice baked cookie recipe with anyone else!

Aw, shame, I loved the look of your other cookies. Don't worry about it though. I often find things in strange places. NO, it's not me !
